Stage 5 – In contrast to yesterday, the course today passed through fields of motionless wind turbines – no wind to turn them. Later, there were storms brewing, with more spills and accidents. I used the panoramic sketchbook again to try and catch the flavour. Here are some of the drawings.
Riding through the trees – SOLD
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
