Following on from the men’s races, this week I finally began to catch up with the women’s races, starting with the Ladies’ Super G at the World Championships in Schladming. Beautiful run in bright sunshine – the course was icy, fast and tiring. Here is the first set of my drawings – more to come!:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
