The Giro d’Italia is a cycling event new to me, but well worth looking at. The riders have had to face challenges with bad rain, mountain stages and slippery conditions, but it is Italy and when the sun shines it’s very beautiful… Here are some of my drawings:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
