G’Day! The second day of the First Test between Australia and England proved to be one that the English batsmen would prefer to consign to the dustbin, but it was a great return to form for the Australian bowlers. The afternoon session mirrored the success of the day before, this time seeing English wickets tumble like playing cards from the strong arms of Mitchell Johnson. Roll on to Day 3 very quickly indeed…..!!! Here are my drawings:

I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
