Olympic Farewell

Hello! The success of the Paralympic Games in Sochi was great to see. Team GB were the UK’s most successful Winter Olympians ever, simply amazing. I’ve made a collection of drawings from both events as a new page, with a little reminder here. Spring is well on its way and time to leave the snow behind. I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.

    Fantastic, love the ‘Sharp Incline’. Also the icy blues in the paintings transmit that feeling of cold. Brrr!
