Hello! Another holiday weekend in the UK and I have to confess that I’m still having a few days of quiet noodling about, not doing very much really! The weather has been lovely and spring is so pretty here that our garden has suddenly lurched into life and ran well past my feeble attempts to keep up. I admit the battle is lost! However, there are some amazing tulips in a tub called ‘Queen of the Night’. Dramatic and strong, coloured like wine, but sometimes looking like lollipops – perhaps I’ve eaten too many! Here are my drawings…

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
