Bonjour! Well today the Tour is here in France and steering a gentler course inland. One fall to report – of the current champion Christopher Froome. With sore injuries sustained, he managed to complete the stage. Meanwhile, after a burst near the end by team Omega, the stage was won again by Marcel Kittel by a hair’s breadth! Here are my drawings:

I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
