Hola! Stage 2 was a stage for the sprinters, being mostly flat.The course travelled across the extreme south of the country, passing through industrial zones and salt flats. It was hot and windy. There was a crazed dash for the line with a fantastic win for French FDJ team rider Nacer Bouhanni, one of cycling’s exciting new sprinters. Here are my drawings:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
