Hot Pursuit!

Hello! A wonderful return to London for the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, bringing memories of London 2012 Olympics for fans. The first day saw two fantastic performances by Team GB in the Men’s and Women’s Team Pursuit races. Gold medals for both and hopefully more to come! Track cycling is a new subject for me and I love the purity and concentration of it. The technique is fascinating to watch and the speed is tangible. Love it! Here are my drawings:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
