More Six Nations … getting serious

Hello! More drawings from the latest round of matches in this year’s 2015 Six Nations rugby tournament. Eagle-eyed amongst you might spot a mix of matches here – too many sketchbooks on the go at the same time perhaps… However, the rugby has been great with close shaves, defeats, wins and near misses! Teams now enjoying a well-deserved break until the next round this weekend. All poised and raring to go! Here are my drawings:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.

    I love the contrast of colors that are imposed on us without any violence , smooth . Similarly , the forms are barely visible.
    A beautiful work that approaches perfection with abstract art 🙂
