Hello! This time of year is always busy! There is so much going on as the cycling season reaches its close (as much as any sport closes these days!). La Vuelta continues in Spain but here in the UK, we have the Tour of Britain. Only eight stages but always a treat and this year is no exception, starting in Wales, on into Lancashire, Northumbria, the Peak District and all points in between! The racing is exciting with the chance to see new stars in the making, as well as familiar favourites. UK fans have really embraced cycling and give the riders such a welcome. It’s great to see the sport in such good heart here at home. It is, as we say, all good stuff!. Here are my drawings:

I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
