Hola! I’ve had time out recently which has meant that I have not been able to follow La Vuelta and the Tour of Britain day by day as I would normally. However, I have been catching up with both races and thought it would be fun to make random posts from various stages, which I’ll feature over the next week or so. Today is La Vuelta and the theme is flags, fog and passionate fans! Here are my drawings:

I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
