Hello! The second week of the Rugby Six Nations contest went by in something of a blur for me… all of the Dodd household struck down with the mother of all headcolds/flu! Glad to say that we’re just about together for the third week which begins this evening, so I thought I’d whet the appetite with these drawings from the last round. Hope there’ll be more from this weekend’s matches to enjoy and apologies again for the delay. Here are my impressions:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
