Hello! The third week of the Rugby Six Nations contest saw three close encounters with much debate in the household about scrums and refereeing. My eyes were too focused on the colour and movement to enter the discussion! I am trying to feature the ball in these images – I love the throw-ins, long kicks and of course great tries. There’s another chance to capture the action coming up soon but in the meantime, here are my impressions:

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
