Hello! To say I’m falling behind with Six Nations is something of an understatement! England won in resounding fashion last weekend and I confess that I watched the action with a beer in my hand rather than my pen and paints! However, the week before saw a great encounter between England and Wales – where Maro Itoji played a fast, intelligent game – certainly a new star in the making. Have a wonderful Easter, whatever you are doing – see you soon! Here are my impressions:

I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
