Hello! The 114th edition of Paris-Roubaix from Compiègne to Roubaix covered a total distance of 257.5 kilometres, with much of the route highlighted by cobblestones. Notoriously difficult to ride, this race didn’t disappoint with tough racing, hard falls and a great win for Matthew Hayman. A fantastic day’s racing! Here are my drawings:
Fantastic action!

another gorgeous collection Maxine! with Chatting On the Way giving us a glimpse into the intimate view of the biking life, wonderful….. Green Fields and Paves has a lovely sense of color and depth, with a most delightful abstract quality that I adore. 🙂

Thanks so much! It’s great to hear from you and I’m glad you like the pictures. I found the long straight lanes fascinating.
It was interesting to try the panorama shape round the other way, (vertical) as a means of fitting the roads in. I don’t know if you try different support shapes for your drawings but I definitely recommend trying it, just cutting a piece of paper down the middle or using off-cuts of mount card can give great results. Lovely to hear from you again, Maxine
