Hello! I loved this image of the riders coming up the hill with the sea behind – such a gorgeous blue! This was the turn inland from Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough and it’s just lovely. Windy and bright – a fantastic day!
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
Thanks for your message. I have previously sold paintings on an instalment basis, by arrangement, if that helps you at all? Email me directly on maxine@maxinedodd.com if you are interested. Have a great weekend! 😀
