Hello! Stage 2 saw another wet day but with some extraordinary work by peloton and breakaway alike. More of the breakaway to come but this picture shows a section of the peloton where the teams briefly gathered (if they did but know it!) into a great arrangement of primary colours, blues, reds and yellows… Beautifully done!
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
