Hello! The second stage was a team time-trial around Brussels, which showed off all the teams to the crowds. The bar was set high from the outset, Team Ineos put in a beautiful, fast circuit. Such is their attention to detail, they organised their team numbers to run from 1 through to 8 as they descednded the podium at the start. The local police marshalling the crowds were so smart, almost seemed to stand to attention as they rode by, hence the title of my picture. All the teams processed and put in good laps but Ineos looked to have it in the bag, until the last team came out, Jumbo Visma, striking in their yellow and black skin suits but also with the Yellow Jersey, Mike Teunissen on a high from yesterday. They rode a phenomenal lap and pipped Ineos to the post. They were ecstatic! Another great day for the Tour and a great one for Dutch cycling.
