Bonjour! Stage 17 – The course followed on from yesterday’s stage, starting at the breathtaking Pont du Gard and working its hot path to Gap. This was a hilly transition stage, taking the race to its closing and decisive mountain stages in the Alps, before heading for Paris. There was a lot at stake for all teams and their riders. Mitchelton-Scott’s Matteo Trentin broke away to take the win, in a lovely solo effort.
Here are my pictures, 🙂

Have a great day! 🙂
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
