Tour de France 2020: Stage 3 – Bottle Volley, 18.9km
Another image of the peloton from Stage 3, showing them passing through an archetypal avenue of plane trees – so typical of the Mediterranean landscape. I was drawing this as a water-bottle flew across towards the right – I tried, in vain, to capture this, but it is there – just – if you look carefully!
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
