Tour de France 2020: Stage 3 – Caleb Ewan storms past Bennett
Stage 3 was taken by Caleb Ewan in a phenomenal sprint past everyone, including Sam Bennett who was literally pipped to the post. Ewan always reminds me of Mark Cavendish, exploding apparently from nowhere with the most remarkable eye for a gap and brave enough to go through it!
Great end to the stage and even Cousin made it to the podium as the rightful winner of the Combatif du jour. All’s well that ends well…
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
