This is Jérôme Cousin, who rode a staggering 110km on his own up at the front, after the last King of the Mountains points had been decided for the day. Arguably, his companions didn’t cover themselves in glory and it was something of a futile exercise for him…
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
