Stage 11’s final sprint to the line was phenomenal and controversial. This image shows Peter Sagan’s move to the line past Wout van Aert which cost him dearly, a move deemed to be dangerous by the organisers and for which he was penalised heavily. Oh Peter!
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
