Following the last image of Sagan’s dangerous move in the Stage 11’s sprint finish, here is the image of what was happening at the other end of the winning line. Caleb Ewan showed how to make a great move past everyone – all I could see was his cycling helmet, like a red dot, punctuating the win emphatically!
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
