Tour de France 2020: Stage 13 – Incredible stretch!
Stage 13 was another gruelling day for the riders. I am fascinated by the measures riders take to deal with cramps or indeed avoid them, while riding for such long distances. This rider suddenly took a stretch over to the right, that made his legs look as though they were made of elastic!
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
