After the extraordinary climbing of yesterday, Stage 14 shifted emphasis back to the sprinters and the battle for the Green Jersey. The route went from Claremont Ferrand and headed to Lyons, where the first ever stage finish took place and was won by Maurice Garin back in 1903.

I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
