The story of Stage 18 will be long remembered because of its finish, with the Ineos Grenadiers’ Stage win for Michal Kwiatkowski and Richard Carapaz. They crossed the line together and it was a lovely moment of great generosity.
I’m a mixed media visual artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work reflects my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – there is movement and energy everywhere.
