Tour de France 2021: Stage 6 – Mark Cavendish in Green – SOLD
Tour de France 2021 – Stage 6, Cavendish in Green! – SOLD
The triumphant Return of the Manx Missile, Mark Cavendish continued today – as he returned to Chateauroux, the scene of his very first victory at the Tour in 2008.
Cavendish claimed his 32nd stage win at the Tour de France moving another step closer to the all-time record of 34 held by Belgian legend Eddy Merckx.
By Stage 13, he took his fourth victory in the 2021 race and his 34rd overall, matching Eddy Merckx’s all-time record of 34 Tour stage wins.
Another fantastic achievement in the Manx man’s remarkable career – What will he do next?
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
