This image evolved from a chance mark made with the palette knife, I could see a red sail clearly and the rest followed. Amazing Sailing – Americas Cup 2013

Hello! There has been an incredible sea battle taking place in the bay of San Fransisco. The countries engaged were the USA and New Zealand. The Kiwi team held the upper hand for nearly half the series. The USA made a bold step to bring in their reserve man after the fifth race. He seemed to make a difference. After more fantastic races, the USA team clawed their way back to take the trophy following a nail-biting and hair-raising day’s racing yesterday. However, it’s great to be able to say that the Americas Cup has some British fingerprints on it….
