Olympic sunshine

Hello! Day 5 began in glorious sunshine for the Women's Downhill event. A great course put all to the test but the outcome was a gold medal for two women, Dominique Gisin of Switzerland and Tina Maze of Slovenia - who flew down the run in 1:41.57. Wonderful! Here are my drawings:

Olympic thrills and spills!

Hello! Third day at Sochi saw an amazing Men's Short-track contest. Amazing progress by GB's Jack Whelbourne only to see him fall in the final but wonderful achievement for Canadian Charles Hamelin, 3rd Gold for him. Also great mogul skiing and ice hockey and still more - phew! Another great day! Here are my drawings:

Racing girls

Following on from the men's races, this week I finally began to catch up with the women's races, starting with the Ladies' Super G at the World Championships in Schladming. Beautiful run in bright sunshine - the course was icy, fast and tiring. Here is the first set of my drawings - more to come!:
