Hello! I loved this image of the riders coming up the hill with the sea behind – such a gorgeous blue! This was the turn inland from Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough and it’s just lovely. Windy and bright – a fantastic day!

Hello! There was a lovely meeting of two worlds during this year’s Tour de Yorkshire, when the race was greeted by a gorgeous steam locomotive en route. If only I could capture the ‘toot-toot’ of the train’s whistle as the riders went past – really evocative of bygone times, beautiful!

Hello! Another picture inspired by this year’s Tour de Yorkshire cycle race. It was a fantastic event and so well supported – I’ve felt really inspired! Today’s picture, ‘Flying past the gorse’ shows exactly that, in springtime on moorland, the golden gorse is always a treat. This view shows the cyclists riding through the landscape of Cathy and Heathcliff – blasted by winds and trees still not quite in leaf. It was a tough climb too!

Hello! Today’s picture is from the beginning of the Tour de Yorkshire – right at the start in the seaside town of Bridlington. The sun was shining and, of course, it was breezy! Lovely to see the cyclists chatting at the start, looking relaxed, ready to begin!
