Tour de France, cycling, art, Cavendish - Head down for No.28, by Maxine Dodd

Bonjour! Stage 3 saw one of the longest routes on this year’s tour, heading inland through pretty towns and villages. The excitement came right at the end where the new holder of the Green Jersey, Mark Cavendish took his 28th stage win by a whisker from André Greipel – a photo had to decide it. Incredibly close!  Here are my drawings:

Hi Maxine. As always, fabulous pictures. I absolutely love the Cav finish – you’ve caught it just right ! I see he won again today, so you’ll soon have a whole gallery of just him !

Thanks so much! Hasn’t Cav done well? Really enjoying these stages and the fact that all the riders are still there, there were so many falls this time last year, this is a much happier start, especially for British fans. Fingers crossed that Mark manages the magic 30 stages! 😀
