Euros 2021: Semi-final: ENGLAND v Denmark – Saka to Sterling
England in the semifinals were a goal down, but how would they respond? The wonderful thing this England team didn’t do, was panic or lose concentration.
Euros 2021 – Semifinal, England v Denmark: Saka to Sterling!
Quite the opposite – Bukayo Saka, the nineteen year old, showed the coolest head and when the chance presented itself to him, struck a lovely cross to my England favourite, Raheem Sterling, but sadly for Denmark, captain Simon Kjaer was put under immense pressure and forced the ball into his own net to provide England with a vital equaliser before halftime.
I’m a contemporary artist working in Leicestershire in the UK. I trained in Fine Art using different media including oils and acrylics, but my recent work is a return to my love of drawn media, especially pen, ink, watercolour and pastels. My theme is movement – My subjects are varied from landscape, animals, musicians, dancers and sport, especially cycling. The unifying feature of all these subjects is that they are constantly changing – even in a landscape there is movement everywhere! I capture the energy of elusive moments often starting with a quick pen and ink drawing. I write and publish my artworks on a blog called ‘Racing Lines’.
